Our StoryJane Blakey founded Lou & Olly in July 2008, in Auckland, New Zealand. She named the company after her affectionate nicknames for her two small daughters, Brooke Lucy and Olivia (Lou & Olly). Jane has designed every item in the Lou & Olly range with Brooke and Olivia in mind (and usually on hand too). She meticulously researches and tests all her designs and materials - and the girls' take their jobs as the official test subjects for the blankets very seriously! It's important to Jane that each item not only looks great, but is also as comfortable against your baby's skin as it can possibly be. Brooke and Olivia love that the company is named after them and Jane is incredibly proud to be sharing both her designs and the purity and softness of New Zealand merino wool with mothers and babies all around the world. About JaneJane comes from a strong background in sales and marketing. Since 2002 she has been importing and distributing boutique baby products under her successful brand Fine Lines. Her offerings have included such internationally renowned labels as OiOi from Australia and aden + anais from the States.Jane has a passion for beautiful accessories and clothing and has always dreamed of creating her own line of boutique baby garments.
